Winter Solstice 2020 Jupiter Saturn Conjunction.

I suspect the year 2020 will stand out in history as a year of Mythic changes!  
The following analysis details the events of 2020 in mythological terms using astrology & LOTR as a method of deciphering the meaning of this remarkable time.
 
Astrologically speaking starting Jan 2020 we have endured a major planetary alignment of Saturn & Pluto, a recurring cycle of 35-38 yrs. These planets deal with both personal & collective Shadow. As detailed in the monumental work of Richard Tarnas in ‘Cosmos & Psyche’ where he traces back to 410 BC connections between Saturn & Pluto marking a time where vistigial structures breakdown revealing the venomous rot so transformation & metamorphosis can take place.  In short it is Boil Lancing, both personal & collective, a long, painful & messy process whereby the destructive, poisonous, toxic forces in the human psyche are forced to the surface to be made conscious & cleansed so Healing can take place.  Adding fuel to the Boil Lancing fire of 2020 is the extra influence of Jupiter & Mars. Jupiter represents the force of Nature that brings expansion, amplification, making Bigger whatever it touches.  In other words Bigger more intense Boil Lancing, then Mars god of War, entered the frey in early August to pour gasoline on the flames igniting the Alchemical Calcinatio which serves to burn away the dross to reveal the Gold.  Mars leaves the battlefield in early Jan 2021. 
The sign in which Saturn & Pluto converge reveals the realm of life experience where this cleansing process will take place. In 2020 it was Capricorn, symbolic of the all that provides form & structure to the larger world ie. the economic, political & social structures. On the personal level it shows up as challenges to the ego structure, ones basic sense of self identity, as well as physical health issues related to  what gives form & structure to the body: spine, bones, skin, teeth, joints, especially knees.  With Mars in the mix inflamation in these areas brings attention to underlying rigidity, blockage & repression that must be addressed if liberation from pain is to take place.

As we now stand at the culmination of this cycle another significant transition is about to occur.  At the time of the Winter Solstice Jupiter & Saturn together enter Aquarius.  Here is where mythology opens the door to a deeper understanding of events.  ​

The Myth for Aquarius is that of Prometheus, the Greek god whose empathy for the suffering of humans struggling without Fire moved him to implore Zeus, the ruling Olympian deity, to allow them the gift of heat & Light.  Zeus in fear that if  humans had Fire they would become more powerful than the gods, refused.
Prometheus, the archetype of the rebellious human spirit that seeks freedom & sovereignty, then defied Zeus, snuck into the back door of Olympus stole the Sacred Fire & delivered it to humanity.  
 
He further bestowed gifts of science, mathematics, architecture & civilization but only after being freed from the painful punishment Zeus inflicted upon him for the theft.  Through 2020 we’ve witnessed the current version of the War the of the Titans as global forces battle for control of the Ring of Power.
 
So after nearly a year of enduring the chaos, mayhem, horror, toxin & disease
ravishing the Human Body & Soul, the Light of Hope emerges, the Promethean
Spirit rises exactly at the darkest moment, the Winter Solstice the longest Night of the year, for millenia recognized as the moment the Light returns.  How miraculously synchronistic, this could have occurred at any other time of year but for us now it is the Winter Solstice.  It is in these times that Myth becomes more relevant than ever!
 
 The mythologist & author Michael Meade says “Myth is about the beginning & end of things – about everything turning to ash, but in the end things don’t really end there is always a thread, something left that can start Life anew.  Meaning surfaces in the Dark times & Myth becomes sensible when things are ending.”
 
In LOTR it was a Promethean Spirit that inspired the Fellowship to defy the Rule of Sauron & restore the Numenorean majesty to A New Age of Men. 
 
The 2020 Boil Lancing has forced the enemy to uncloak, ‘One Ring to Rule them All’ now comes in the form of a global totalitarian police state disguised as concern for human health. Using fear, disinformation & weaponized propaganda the media servants of Sauron have terrified the people of the world to the point they willingly sacrifice their freedom & humanity to be saved from a virus with a 99.94% survival rate.  All the while creating a distraction from the largest transfer of wealth to the upper eschelon in the history of the world. The Great Reset & mandatory vaccinations will bring us all into servitude if we the people do not resist.
 
This is our Battle at the Black Gate!  With the Fire of Prometheus burning in our Souls & for “all we hold dear on this good earth let us Stand Men & Women of the West!”
